fall and winter food plot seeds?

I was just wondering What would be the best seed to plant for fall and winter. I don't have fancy farming machinery so a notill seed would be preferable. Thanks

I think dbltree's white clover/winter rye is the best and simplest

Clover's, brassica's, turnips are very easy and rewarding fall/ winter plots
You could even broadcast winter wheat in , it will need covered
Rangoria rape is a big hit with our deer herd into late Dec
