Not hunting related buck what the heck?

Went to the cabin for the weekend to chase big pike. Was way too rough to even think about the big lake, we'd have been gonners!

Headed to the little trout lakes a mile away and did pretty good, boated a bunch and lost a bunch more. It was fun but chilly for Sept. fishing, about 40 degrees and wet and windy. The whiskey sure tasted good after a day in the cold.

Missed my Canada trip this year but I have an extra week in November to chase Whitetails...

Your killing me. I cancelled my fall musky trip to the Lake of The Woods because the gas was so high. Keep the pictures coming. It will help me cope until June comes around again.

Sweet pics, Kaare! I'm totally pumped for my trip to Canada on October 1, except for the fact that I'll miss the bow opener!

I'll be doing a little trout fishing of my own today and tomorrow, Iowa-style of course. Highly doubt I'll be seeing anything close to the likes of those dandies!!! Again, nice pics!
