Farmground in two counties...now what?

Here is yet another landowner tag registration question.
What do you do when you own farmground in more than one county? The registration form only allows for one tax parcel number (one farm unit in one county...which is good for several parcels in ONE county) Does this now mean that you have to register seperately for land in a different county? If this is the case...that means you have to pick what county and what farm you are going to use your farm tag on. Before, it didn't matter. The farm tag was good for your properties no matter what county you were in.....except for the doe tags that you have to specify the county which is no big deal.
Does this now mean you have to use your farm tag on the "registered farm" in one county and then manke sure you have a statewide tag to hunt your OWN property just across the county line?? If so, this is ridiculous. Why can't you have more than one tax number on the tag (landowner tag good for more than one county)
I know there are several landowners on here that own farmground in more than one county....anyone have any ideas?

I can't see anything that suggests you can't register more than one parcel in any number of counties. I hope they aren't going to make it county only. Illinois is that way and it is absurd.

I registered the larger of 4 places that qualify me as a landowner. I have often wondered why a landowner can't get anterless tags for each property if they are all stand-alone properties.

I read this "landowner registration" was one of the changes for this year in Iowa, but I was curious what exactly the "eligibility requirements" are? This is more of a curiosity question than anything else since I neither hunt nor own any property in Iowa...

"2. Requires all landowners and tenants to certify that they meet eligibility requirements before they can obtain a landowner license. Notices will be mailed to all individuals who have obtained a landowner license within the past 5 years. They can use the form or register online. Individuals will not be able to obtain a landowner license if they have not completed the certification process."

In a nut shell, in order to qualify for a LOT tag you must either own and actively farm agricultural land, own one of the many types of CRP ground, or rent and actively farm agricultural land. You must be an Iowa resident (thank God) and, something that some forget, the tag is only valid on the land which qualified you for it.
The new registration requirements are a result of widespread abuse of the old LOT system where anybody could walk in and buy a LOT tag with no questions asked.
