favorite snack to take hunting

A favorite at our place and to all that try it is to start with pancakes for breakfast and be sure to make extra (the frozen kind work fine for the culinary challenged). With the leftover pancakes use them in place of the bread, and make a peanut butter & jelly sandwich out of them. They have been a big hit with us and due to the content seem to stick to your ribs and it doesnt matter if they get quished a bit in your pack. Give em a try and let us know.

Those really thick Hershey candy bars. You know the ones that make good smores? Unless it is really warm deer hunting I make sure I have one of those. I eat a couple squares an hour to tide me along til dinner then til the end of the day.

Go to Wal-Mart and get some of their Trail Mix, a big bag for about $5 and put it in baggies. It's some good stuff if you like granola bars ect.
