Fawn Bawl

I'm looking into getting a fawn bawl call for early october, I've been summoned by a few landowners to mow down some does and I want to smoke as many as possible and thought this might be a good way, has anyone ever used this call and if so what brand do you recommend I get or stay away from??

I have had incredible success with the Dan Thompson PC2. It's a cottontail distress call but can also make a fawn bawl. I have had a great number of does come to it while calling coyotes, but have also used it from the treestand in Oct. with good results. The deer on my primary hunting ground seem to disregard it now, but I believe that's because they have heard it so often. It doesn't seem to matter what time of year I use it, the does just come running.

Like Kansas said, back when we did more yote calling it wasnt uncommon for does to come running into a rabbit in distress call. I always presumed they mistook it for a bawling fawn.
