He gave me the slip yesterday and tried to pull the same trick this morning. Had to go sniper mode from the timber edge. These open country birds really don’t like coming to you which makes sense. A lot harder to close the deal than the hardwoods birds I’ve taken. Will need to step up the decoy game next year.
