field edge plot help

wanting to plat some sort of food plot along field edges and fence lines. anybody done this and have any luck. looking for something that the deer will come to duing the season. any info will help thanks

Sometimes things don't grow well along edges if it's trees or brush...moisture and nutrients get sucked out of the soil.

If that isn't a problem them brassicas, clover, rye, oats etc. should all work well. Rye and brassicas work better into the late season. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
