Finally, a bear hunt

After talking about it for a couple of years I am finally going to try a bear hunt in MN. I hope this fall is better for them than last year was. Anyone else going to go?
 
awesome congrats. not goin to minn. but hopefully gettin a wyoming mule deer tag.

I will put in for our group again this year. We seem to get drawn every other year. Last year was probably one of our best years up there for the hunt. 4 of us went and 3 had tagged out by 6 o'clock the first day. I unfortunately screwed up the bear of a lifetime by not pulling my head out of my keester. It FIELD DRESSED at 545 lbs. There are BIG bear in Minnesota!

Gonna try up in the NW part of the state. I don't have a lot of vacation, so I figured I better try it with a guide at least the first time. I don't know how I would get the bait site established from down here. We'll see how it goes, but I am looking forward to giving it a try.
