FINALLY!! - what are the deer doing

FINALLY!!! I took the next 10 days off to hunt. Been extremely busy (building a new house)so not much hunting yet; but I'm going to make up for it now! Just wondering where we are at as far as the rut is concerned-what are the deer doing? Would appreciate info from any of you guys who have been lucky enough to be out there. Thanks in advance and good luck guys.

Was out last night moving a stand. Kinda of late. The scrapes I had seen a week ago have been worked hard. Instead of a small licking branch broken above the scrape, the branches were shreaded. I would have to agree things are starting to heat up.

I was out this morning before the rain hit and had a nice buck chase a doe under me at about 5:30. I saw a couple of different bucks earlier in the week freshening scrapes. I'd say it is starting to heat up.

Lot of bucks moving this morning, caught this buck coming up from a bottom where I have a stand.

Hard to miss in open bean stubble.
