First attempt at food plot

Team Haastyle

Host of Haastyle Hunting
Here are some pictures of my food plot from this year. In years past I just used Evolved Habitats Throw N' Grow and this past summer I finally stepped into the big leagues and plowed/disked/dragged a 1 1/4 acre food plot. Used Frigid Forage Big n Beasty Brassicas, Autumn Quick Plot, and Evolved Habitats Winter Peaz. On average my turnips are the size of hardballs with the largest being about six-eight inches wide. Cant wait to put the plot again in next year

The plot looks great, congrats!! But keep in mind that you may encounter problems if you plant brassica's(turnips, etc) multiple years in a row on the same plot. You may want to consider rotating what you plant from year to year if you are using the same "dirt" every year.

When you have a couple of hours to spend...I would highly recommend reading through the long and very detailed threads in Dbltree's Corner, there is much to be learned related to food plots in those threads.
