All I could find is that in Iowa 8 to 12 percent of does have triplets each year. Most yearling does will have only one, and most all other does have twins. Research also showed that there is a 73 percent survival rate with fawns. Most of the ones that don't make it are due to preditation, coyotes, bobcats, dogs, etc...
