First Gobbler

Never did much turkey hunting but decided to give a whole hearted try on Saturday morning. I told my wife I was getting up early to hunt, seemed she wasn't as excited as I was so I told her I'd be back before she was out of bed. Yeah right she said with a chuckle, when I walked into the bedroom at 6:40 a.m. to wake her in full camo I was the one chuckling. I think I'm hooked on this, great rush, had to wait what seemed like an eternity & when he got clear & stuck his head up I couldn't shoot due to a deer a few yards behind him. Patience pays off!
