First pull of the season

Nothing to impressive yet. Got pics of this buck. Wanted some opinions. Looks similar to the bladed 8 I had pics of last year, but this deer still looks young. The bladed 8 from last year should have put on more I would think and have a more mature look. If you look closely on the right g2 of the velvet buck you can see some blading. And I guess I wouldnt picture a drop growing from his beam randomly that he wouldnt have had from the year before. Still good to see none the less!

I don't think they're the same. Cool buck though.

I don't think they are the same deer either. Main beams from the 8 last year appear to turn in more towards the center, and droptine's main beams appear to swoop forward more.

Hard to tell with the pictures you have so far. There are some similarities in the G2's and frame, but like bpbowhunter said the main beams don't look like they match up. Sweet character for sure though!
