First Season Success

First season was sure one to remember. For me it was more of the social time spent with old friends but the hunting wasn't too bad either! We started Saturday out with 28 tags to fill (4 any sex & the rest doe only). By 1:00 Monday we were 1 short with 25 does and 2 bucks. Believe it or not, they were cut up by 11:00PM Tuesday! We couldn't hang our deer in the pole barn we usually hang them in and we only had 1 other place to hang all those deer. That would be 40ft up in a loading dock at one of the hunters steel fabrication shop. This is a photo I usually wouldn't post but this made for a unique photo. The deer hanging in this photo were all shot on Saturday.

haha nice pics, that would be pretty crazy to walk into a building and have deer hanging that high above your head.

That's a cool pic regardless of what is said. Something you don't always see. Could you imagine the look on some of the metal fab workers face when they walk in not knowing there are deer haning in there, that would be priceless.

I'd like to see the neighbors damn dog try to sneak in there and eat the hind quaters out of them deer.

Duck, I recognize that shop, that's John F's isn't it? You can't see it in the pic but the only thing flying higher than the Deer is his American Flag!!
