I set up my first trial cam on June 3, then left town. I went back today to swap memory cards and batteries. When I got home and looked at the card, the last shot was me approaching the camera to open it today. Kind of a good thing it did that, as I did not set the time or date for the camera, and that photo has allowed me to go back and figure out when the shots were taken. It took 90 images over two weeks. I'll upload one or two deer images to the photo gallery. I thought this shot was pretty cool.

A couple of the does were so close you can see ticks on them!

Ok...I know I'm not that bright, so I've been waiting for someone to comment on this pic...but since no one has...
What the heck is that?? Looks like a cat to me...or do I just need more coffee at 2:00 a.m.??

Coon, you can see a little bit of his black mask on the left hand side of his face. Of course, it could be the Solon mountain lion I've been hearing about.

3beards,
Didn't you know the DNR was stocking them to control an over population problem?

The coon in the original image is perched on top of a woven wire fence that is stapled to the tree I had the trailcam on. The tall weeds in front were messing with the photos so I have relocated the camera. More photos in a couple of weeks.
