I don’t know if many of you have seen my previous post about my project farm the last couple years. I emptied a high fence farm and am restoring it to its natural habitat. Starting with zero deer. I was able to harvest my first good buck off of it today after a few years of hard work. Including burning, lots and lots of TSI, CRP plantings, and of course food plots. This is a buck that I found last year late season and got sheds off of.
This year he showed up early and stayed patterned even with the 85 degree temps this week, I like to think my new 20 acre alfalfa field has a big roll to play in that. He has been working the same scrape the last few days and this evening I decided to catch up with him.
