during gun season I peg most of the issues on party hunting. I seriously believe if party hunting was done away with you would see a major decrease in the amount of guys running all over going where they please and shooting whatever moves... two years ago i found three stands on one of our farms while i was shed hunting, so i took the liberty of going home and getting a sawz all and cut them up into nice portable pieces

Exactly! It's CRAZY how many poachers, thieves, crooks, etc are in this sport. It's really sad. Sportsman stealing from other sportsman constantly (poaching and regular theft). That's pretty bothersome & upsets me that I share my passion with a large group of clowns & crooks.
I do NOT like GOLF but I can bet I rarely would have my golf clubs stolen from someone on the golf-course.

I completely agree Skip!, although I've had tree stands AND golf clubs stolen....

Thieves are the scum of the earth!!!
