First time

Since 1986 am not at bear camp for opening day.
Feels kinda weird but 35 years of blood,dragging,and bugs have slowed me down.
Was a superb run though..
Would not trade the great times I've had for a 250"buck.

Next year?!? Life has its seasons and no season lasts forever. I’m sure a new page will open for you!! Lucky bear somewhere up there better be thankful!

For sure Skip.
For many years I'd give my (both) nuts for bear opener.
What I lived for.
Had family/friends every year.
But that started to wane when $ got so high to even get the hides done.

I'm certainly not done huning/killing bear myself but just really miss the company of the yearly get together.

And, I've passed up over 100,000$ from requests over the years to take people out.
Have just done it for fun.

Good run! I've never seen a bear in the wild. I imagine the adrenaline rush is addictive. Totally get the missing of the comradery.
