Fishing????????

I know from experience that most hunters are fisherman also, because in the summer i love to fish. I am just wondering if anyone has any tips for catching early season monster bass? Whats a good lure? Should you reel fast or slow? Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

i went out to my pond last weekend i used a yellow spoon and caught 6 pretty nice bass. i had to reel really slow just fast enough to where it wouldnt hit the bottom

Thank you, i will have to try that. Only about half of my ponds are open. Nice to see your out there catching them already. Hope you keep reelin' em in...sometimes i will use a #3 mepps minnow spinner along the shore at medium speed, u can try that. anyone else have a tip?????????

I will be heading out sometime this next week. The weather looks like it will be pretty nice with highs in the 70's.
