Fixing a trail camera

BDAHMS

Anyone know enough about trail cameras to work on them? I have one that is in good condition (will get the name and style after work) but the pictures come out ALL black or completely white- and every once in a while a good picture comes out- anyone know enough to fix this? I actually want to sell it as I have 8 others- but would rather sell a working perfectly camera VS one with any issues.

A lot of the camera manufacturers have a customer service procedure and a few will replace cameras even if they are out of warranty. I don't know of anyone who fixes them. Figure out the brand and call them. The worst they could do is tell you it's not covered or repairable.

Called Wildgame Innovations today about a camera that quit working a week or so ago. They don't make it anymore, and wouldn't take it without a proof of purchase, it was about 2 years old. They told me to tear it apart and make sure it wasn't corroded (it wasn't). Best I could tell is the LCD screen quit working, as the red power button still lights up, doesn't take any pics though. Guess I'm out $90 after 2 years of pics.. lol
