They are spooked by seeing the camera box regardless of flash or not. It's something different in their bedroom and they don't like it.

I've had multiple bucks that will only walk by a camera once and then make a slight change to not walk past it again. I'll see them using the same area within 50 yards but they will actually look over at the camera and avoid it.

Well I purchased a new camera today..went with the moultrie m-880...I'll put it out tomorrow and see if its any better than my covert mp-e5

Coverts are hard to beat on image quality, however moultries take awesome pics with some of the best night time pics from commercial cameras.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Moultries have treated me well
