I like sunfish about 4 to 6 inches long hooked between the dorsal fin and the tail. If I am fishing with someone else I like to add bullheads on a few hooks to see what they are hungry for. Bullheads can live longer on a hook in the swifter currents which is a plus if you are running bank poles. The old saying..."The bigger the bait, the bigger the fish" is as true as it gets. I like back-water on the up-river side of swift current. Usually some deep holes here. On the down river side of big brush piles is also a favorite spot. If you are running poles make sure to check them every few hours. Leaving a big boy on all night is a gamble no matter how strong the tackle. Go get a big-un!
