I would think that leaving them outside overnight to cool that the fleas would be dormant at least. Skin them outside into a garbage bag & chuck them darn things, hate fleas.
I thought they went south for the winter? At least that's what I got out of a story I heard just last week, it goes as follows.
There were two fleas that migrated to sunny Florida every winter, one was from New York & the other from Iowa. Every year they would meet, arriving within a few days of each other, & the one from Iowa was always the last to arrive & always cold & shivering.
The other flea was warm & cozy sittng on the beach waiting for him. When he showed up with his lips blue from being cold & still shaking the 1st flea asked him why he was always so cold when he got there. The 2nd flea replied that the only ride he could find was in the mustache of some guy on a Harley.
The 1st flea said here's what you do. Next year go to an airport lounge & look for a stewardess & crawl up her leg, nice & warm in there. The 2nd flea said, ok, I'll do that next year.
The following year the flea from NY was 1st to arrive again & sat on the beach waiting for his friend. As the flea from Iowa approached the 1st flea could see that he was cold & shaking once again.
So why didn't you go to the airport lounge like I told you he asked & crawl up a stewardess's leg? But I did replied the 2nd flea, I did just what you told me. I found a stewardess & got up there & found the warmest most comfortable spot I was ever in. Before I knew it I was fast asleep, it was like heaven! Next thing I know I wake up shivering & my lips are blue. All of the sudden I realised I was back in the mustache of that guy on the Harley!
Sorry, I couldn't resist /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
