I mounted the deer I was doing and had never looked at the outside of the cape until mounting it. Then I went like WTH is that????? I had some guys tell me it was a bad sewing job. Problem was I used a short Y cut. And the was zero sewing where the mane was. So after a little research I learned that some deer do have a mane that sticks up.
