For those that might not know it, there is a pretty handy mapping website that allows you to calculate acreages. I found it very helpful for my foodplots but you could use it for anything. It will tell you the length from any point to point as well. Not every county in Iowa is shown but many are. Just pick your county then search based on landowner or you can just go straight to the map.

Great link Fred! The Web Soil Survey also has some great tools and comes in handy to find soil types for soil samples also
