I have a 4-row John Deere 1240 plateless planter for sale.
The rows are set at 38"
Planter has 2 settings on it. Corn or Soybean / Milo. I have successfully planted corn, pumpkins, sunflower, soybeans, milo, and sweet corn both in till and no till settings.
Also has fertilizer boxes in the front with duel disc openers, Insecticide box, Herbicide box, row markers, and hydraulic cylinder. I have never used the items in this list for food plotting, but they do come with the unit.
Planter has always been covered and has worked out very well. Lubed and greased before and after every season, along with all seed boxes cleaned out after every planting. Pulled it with a John Deere 5075E with no problems.
Planter is sold as is and is in working order.
I have the Operator’s Manual in Hand.
