ISU Extension Service is holding a series of Forestry Field Days. One in SE Iowa is at the Donnellson Unit of Shimek Forest at the White Oak Campground on October 3rd.
Reg. begins at 8:30 a.m. cost is $10.00
They are covering a whole lot of great information including timber market value, TSI thru burning, controlling invasive species, etc.
They hold these all over the state, so if you haven't recieved a letter, contact your local extension agent.
