I didn't plan on looking for morels, but stumbled onto a couple good patches on Saturday after the rain. Found around 60 near Albia.

Not sure how good it would be if we did get a rain. Picked 20# today in some of the flood area near the Missouri River.

Nice finds guys. I still havnt hit my honey spots, its been a little too dry where i go. Im gonna go again today and just hit it hard. Im sick of the bugs, thats why shed hunting trumps shrooming.

Found about 10 pounds so far this year. But last week iv been seeing ones crumbling and browning. Gonna go here in an hour. Let me know if you guys think its too late is SE iowa. Or what your findings have been so far in the recent week

I think its about done in SE Iowa. Found just a few here and there now, mostly brown and crumbly, but again, maybe there are still spots that are left.
