Frequency of washing clothes

Everyone knows that in order to kill a mature whitetail, you have to beat his nose. Most people will then take a shower before hunting, put the wind in their favor, and use scent elimination sprays. However my question is how often should we be washing our hunting clothes??? After wearing them once....Once a week...month. Give me some advice guys....you haven't steered me wrong yet!!!

If I work up a sweat I will wash them when I get home. Otherwise I wash the base layers every one or two hunts depending on how cold it is. I don't wash coats and bibs nearly as often - as long as I am wearing several layers underneath them I figure those layers take in the most of the scent.

If I worked up a sweat, I wash them that night. If not, I usually hang them up outside and let the fresh air run through them. Doing that usually gives me three hunts before I wash again.

I don't have a set rule but I wash outer wear after every 2-3 hunts during cold weather, more frequently during warmer weather. My base layers get washed after every hunt.

All depends on how badly they get soiled with my scent. I washed mine again after Sunday morning hunt cuzz I goot bloood on them.

About the same with me. My outer clothes are always in a tote in the crossover of my truck. I don't wash them until season is over. Unless I get blood on them.

I only wash my outer layers a couple times each season. What's most important is to make sure you don't wear them in your house or in your vehicle. I keep all my hunting clothes in a big plastic tub and do not put the clothes on until I get to my hunting spot. Then I strip down to my underwear and put them on. I take them all off again when I get done hunting and put on my street clothes. This isn't the most enjoyable task when I'm hunting in 20 degree weather,

but I have four 150+ inch bow kills hanging on the wall from the last 6 years and I believe it has a lot to do with it.

It's about the same for me.

I wash my inner layers every single hunt. They are dried outside on a line, or hunt in a three-sided shed my brother and I built specifically for our hunting stuff. My outer layers I wash every few hunts.

I think I might wash my stuff a bit more than it has to be, but I'm paranoid about scent control.
