Just as well ruin them legs with some wussy-wine, since you trashed them with the Italian dressing. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Fried in butter with (as Dierks Bentley says) something domestic, light and COLD!!!...like say a Busch Light, vintage July 2008 /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

ok......
listen here!

i drowned them suckers with a Bud Select, chips and salsa.... and it was to die for.... in fact i might die for it later on the John, but thats besides the point.

i happen to like wine, and if anything that makes my taste quite a bit more advanced than all you suds drinkin' sissies!!!!!!

hahahahaha

ack.gif

Shut up RRRandy!
I got more respect for your name tag, cause at least its 3 inches long!

Ok... So I know nothing about frog giggin, or frying them. Can someone tell me whats involved, once you have harvested some.

Dean

HA,
well it involves a hatchet and a short piece of 2X4..... /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Legs come off, they get skinned with pliers, then how you choose to marinate them or whatever the purists do, and how you wash them down is up to you /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

but i do know one thing, they eat pretty dang good!

Make sure the wife watches you cook them so she can see them "twitch" while they're frying! Fresh legs react to heat and will wiggle pretty good sometimes. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

We went last weekend.Water was kinda high so they were up in the weeds. We still caught our limit.

I've never frogged during the daylight? Our trips are all nighters or until we run out of beer(That doesn't happen) /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gifWe usually bring enough to sink the boat.Lots of fun!
As for cleaning. We just carry a pair of bird shears(bird scissors) and cut him off at the waist,Throw the body in the water and the legs in a ice chest as we catch them. That way we don't have to worry about nothing but skinning the legs when we get home at freaking daylight. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Did you even finish your one single beer? I remember in Nebraska you practically begged me for one of my beers and you couldn't even choke down 1/3rd of it. Even crappy beer doesn't deserve that sort of treatment.
