The definition of party hunting is the ability to tag someone elses deer, assisting another hunter you can't. You need a license to assist another hunter. </div></div>
So unless you have a kill tag in your possession, you cant hunt or kill deer with a bow during bow season, regardless if you have a hunting license or not.
But you can carry a gun and kill deer without a kill tag as long as you have a hunting license and are hunting with someone that has a kill tag, during gun season?
That seems strange to me, cause your DNR want so many deer killed, why cant you fill bow tags, like you can fill gun tags?
