Last night at 4:45 I was out on the deck when I noticed a nice 2.5 year old making a scrape line 75 yards from my house. Granted he ain't a shooter but to see a buck up, moving, and making a new line at that time of day sure gets a guy fired up. I'll try to post some pics later tonight.

Out hunting the other night I had a dink making a scrape 15 yards away from my stand. Then he walked over and beat on a sappling for a bit. Wont' be long at all and the big boys will get the fever too.

Have seen a few dinks the past 10 days or so working a scrapeline on one of the farms I have been hunting. Had a POS half rack work a sappling over for about 15 minutes last night in front of me, then walk about 20 yds and make a fresh scrape, work the licking branch over and head on his way.

Brother had 2 bucks, 1 very nice, bumpin a doe last Sunday evening and the dominant deer ran ended up running the dink off and coming back to tend to the lady. A few things have happened in the last few weeks to get a guy pumped up. i only wish I could see a buck out my back door 75 yds. :)

Seeing lots of little buck activity, 1.5 and 2.5 year old bucks mainly. Last Sunday a little forky came out and ran does around for 30 minutes grunting his fool head off. A few minutes later another small buck came waltzing out and those two went to battle, this was the most agressive fight I have ever seen. Granted they were both small, but still exciting to watch from 50 yards away.

It's getting closer everyday, can't wait for it to really start kicking off!

Seen a 1 1/2 yr. old working a tree over pretty good two weeks ago
on a field edge about a hour before dark.

Had a 140" plus deer running ma and her fawn last Sunday
around 8 am. Passed with 20 yards.
Surprised me and he was grunting the whole time.
