I know it is still early, but I wanted to share an experience from Saturday morning.
I had a mature doe just out of bow range munching on Shingle Oak acorns. Here comes a 2.5 year old 8 point up the trail. He spots the doe, and they have a couple minute stair down.
Next thing the buck completely circles my tree and starts scent checking the doe from about 25 yards. He then bust out after her and chased her hard over then next ridge. It was pretty cool and it kind of looked like a November scene we are all familar with.
