HF 164 dealing with search warrants and its companion bill SF24 are back again. I believe this will be the third time around for them. The bills die in committee but can be brought back again the next year.

Go here for links to previous posts:https://www.iowawhitetail.com/forum/threads/hf164-search-warrant.55793/

And the original: https://www.iowawhitetail.com/forum/threads/hf-2193-search-warrants.54520/

The links to the IW pages already have links to the bill. Happy clicking!

We have heard the bill will be reworked. A farm owned by the author/sponsor was ticketed by the DNR for some kind of EPA/run off/fish kill manure problem of some kind a few years ago and he has tried to change how the DNR can gain access to lands ever since. So it might be reworked some how to allow fish and game to do what they have always done but restricts DNR EPA personnel. I'll believe it when I see it and even if I see it I will probably not support it.

I'll try to keep up on this one, I've heard it is scheduled for committee meetings but I can't find when or who.

Are the 2nd and 3rd links the same ones by chance?

This bill is going before the Public Safety Committee tomorrow. Even if the bill has been changed in some areas how can they bring back a three time looser?
