Two weekends ago I put a camera in our timber on a dead tree with no top pointing at a scrape. Dad didn't tell me he was turning the cattle out the following day. Out of 2300 pictures 10 were deer and the rest were the cattle cleaning up the area until they used the tree as a rub pole and knocked it over. Camera was covered in cow manure.
 
Was going to me my first hunt at my new farm but fixed fence and got out of there instead. Haha. Wouldn't be right if everything went smooth anyways.
 
I'm not sure why you're upset, have you tried one of those before? They're delicious and that one looks pretty healthy!!

Not to mention the hide makes great belts, shoes, jackets...

Guess what likes one of the rub trees I put out for the deer this year...yep.


Is that Sligh in the background with the 30-30?
 
Other than the down fence, there's only one way out of that timber and not fenced up there. Saw one set of tracks going out and none coming back in...so not sure if they recovered that one. Could have tagged one for sure!
