Good shootin, that looks like fun. May I ask how/where you went about it. I have bowfished successfully in the May/June timeframe when the carp were wallowing around in the shallows spawning, but have never tried it at this time of the year. (I don't want specific spots, just general ideas about lake, river, resevoir, backwater v. current, etc.)

We got lucky and found a great spot. With the lack of rain that we received this summer the water receeded and the carp were basically trapped in a large, but very shallow backwater area. It was in a backwater area of Lake Red Rock.
We donated the carp to the Marion County Conservation Board to use for food for their introduction of Osprey in the Lake Red Rock area.
