Good luck to everyone and stay safe. I won't be out until 2nd season but get to hunt with my daughter, so looking forward to that.

When you say no doe that means no extra doe tags but do have either set tags correct?

I went out for two hours at sunrise to listen and watch. There were flurries of shots here and there which is what I feel is common during this season. Saw one pickup go by with only the driver in it and he was wearing orange. Didn't pay much attention the rest of the day as I had things to do around the farm. Quiet start IMO

No- first season is buck only, no doe tags.

First time in 51 years I’m not hunting 1st season. With the change in tags, I’ll just wait for late muzzle loader to hunt. Seeing a good number of deer last time checked the camera, so pretty sure I’ll still see dear.

I sat most of the day. First spot was ruined after a group pushed the neighboring property so went to plan b. Ended up seeing 16 deer in the last hour of daylight. 6 bucks and 10 does. One buck made me think pretty hard, but no trail camera history besides this year so was unsure of the age. Any age guesses? I was thinking 4.5, but I suck at aging on the hoof.

My guess is 3.5 yr old but I'm wrong most of the time. Pretty sleek belly line.
