I fired a warning shot at one this morning
All I ended up with was empty brass.

Dont feel bad man. I hit my scope when i got up in the stand this morning
It was off a foot to the left and 6 inches high
Saw a big 10 today at about 250 yards and shot at him. He just stood their. Im thinking WTH. Shot again and he ran off. Wasnt sure if i got him or not so i went and checked it out and i didnt see any blood so he's safe till next year.
Then had a decent 8 point walk about 100 yards away. I fired and he just stood their. Yet again im thinking WTH. He walked off. About 5 minutes later he walked up ontop of a burm. I shot and he dropped in his tracks. When i looked at him i was supprised i hit him. I shot right infront of his back leg! He struggled to get up but couldnt and died about 2 1/2 min after he was down.

I'm waiting to hear from my brother in Neb.tonight. He's been seeing a nice one lately.(Big 8 pt.....140's) Hope he gets him this weekend. I shot one at his place last week with my bow. Not big but nice enough to take for that $180.00 tag.

Almost forgot, but did you Huskers see another mountain lion hit near Gretna? Only about 10 miles south of where I was hunting when it happened. Wonder if he followed the Elkhorn River.
