Got my late muzzy buck back!

sureshot

The Hunt Never Ends....
I harvested this buck on December 6th last muzzleloader season and wasn't sure if I wanted to get him shoulder mounted or not.

About two weeks ago my girlfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told her I really wasn't sure.

She came up with the idea to pay for my late muzzy buck to get mounted. I thought that was a pretty good idea! :drink1:

Took him to the taxi two weeks ago and got a phone call this afternoon from him saying that I could come pick him up! I think he turned out pretty good! Great job Mr. Hoch! :way:

2-weeks

You got it back in 2-weeks!!!! How in the heck did he do that? They usually have to dry 2 weeks before they can do the painting. That's got to be a record. Congrats on a beautiful buck. That's SWEET!

Lookin good! You are running out of room on the wall looks like you're gonna have to hold out on a 200 incher this fall.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I appreciate them! Yeah, two weeks is pretty fast. He ordered the form the day I dropped off the rack, mounted it three days later. Let it dry for one and a half weeks and painted it. I picked it up the day he painted it. Usually he lets them sit in his shop for a few days after painting but he's a good friend of mine and i've gotten quite a bit of work done with him so he let me take it right away.

Great addition to the wall Chris. I personally wouldn't have thought twice. Props to the girlfriend! They all look good. I'm definately gonna keep Hoch's in mind if I tag a dandy this fall/winter. I have yet to recieve my 07 muzz kill or my 08 bowkill, I'm jealous!
