Grandson's 1st turkey

Took my 8yr. old grandson on his first turkey hunt. The Double Bull worked great,he shot his 1st Tom 22.5 lbs. ,1 1/8 spurs and 9 inch beard.
Grandpa couldn't be prouder, the next generation of turkey hunters has begun. Will try to download a photo. May need some help!!

That had to be fun. I started working with my second son to get him seasoned. Pass it on!!!

Nice first bird, he'll have to work hard to top that one... but at 8 he'll have alot of time to try.

Also, as someone that hunted with his grandpappy. You created a priceless memory for yourself and your grandson that will last several generations, job well done.
