Gravel road booze cruising....

Some find this a lot of fun. Usually in the AM I find fresh beer cans on the road.... I’m rarely lucky enough to make finds like this though!

The county was nice enough to use our tax dollars on a new bridge this last year. These folks wanted to go around it apparently. This had to be an interesting night for these folks.:p:D:rolleyes:

Wow, that's crazy! Drunk drivers do some crazy things.

Years ago I worked at a place that had a dead end road behind it and a bar about a mile away. Some drunk left the bar, went down the dead end street, tried to back up to turn around, backed under the chain link fence around our work and found himself stuck in our fenced in compound. He drives around till he gets to the front gate and stops about 20 ft away. We had one of those gates where you pull close enough and it automatically opens. So here is this guy, stopped just short of tripping our auto gate and he decides, I'll ram through it. He proceeds to floor his car and rams our gate. The gate takes some damage and his car stalls allowing our security cams to get great imagery of his license plates. The gates although damaged, open up since he tripped the sensor. He now proceeds to drive out the open gate and escape. The cops are called and it's a quick man hunt as the driver parked about 1/2 a mile away on the side of the street and passed out. The evidence is pretty damning, car scratched to hell, damage to the front end and video surveillance footage. Lol

Um isn't that the east side of the road and the car is facing south? If that is the case they had to be on the wrong side of the road......o_Oo_O

That’s true. But like anyone on here who likes to throw down a 24 pack & hit the road... when u see double of everything or things start spinning - it’s so hard to determine left from right. Or even the best path across a bridge. Cant hardly fault these folks.

No matter where they live - this had to be one heck of a walk home or maybe they got lucky & had dry cellphones & could call a more sober friend who was only a 12 pack deep into the night.:cool::p

Or maybe they just lost control on the gravel? It does look like fresh gravel before the bridge aways.

Maybe, but the fact that they left the car like that leads me to think they had a reason to hide at the time. If my car was in a crick, I'd be getting it out of there ASAP, not leaving it set for everyone to gawk at.

And exactly how would they go about getting it out of there as fast as they could? That probably took multiple wreckers and multiple people to get it out. If it happened on Saturday night, probably not a lot of people would come out on Easter Sunday to spend there day pulling it out. Not like it was going anywhere and it is totaled regardless.

If u look at the photo- the path to the river does look a lot like an “exit ramp”. The river could appear to be just a paved cross road. Probably an old lady just trying to get to town for some milk & eggs. :p:D;)

we have booze & meth central about 3-4 miles away so we are blessed with these types of drivers often. & when u get the itch for week long binge of meth- the location is really ideal!!! o_O

That car probably weighs a measly 3000 lbs, I'd have it out of there within an hour.

Just saw an SUV this morning on the way to work. It was smashed head on into a big tree.
Trooper that was there looked like he had just discovered it himself. Looking around like WTH???

Looks like a pretty good smallmouth spot now with the new fish crib.
