Went on a three day hunting trip this weekend, and had a great hunt. On Friday Nov. 10 the conditions were perfect...cold with rain. Since it was my first day in the stand this season...I didn't seem to mind.
The morning started with about 150 turkeys flying down all around me. They were harrassed by 3 different coyotes and a young buck. Around 8:30 I noticed a doe behind me...just knowing there had to be a buck trailing her, I slowly turned to my left, and found him to be a shooter at 20 yards. He only made it about 75 yards after the arrow passed through his heart. [image]http://www.iowawhitetail.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=14220&size=big&password=&sort=1&thecat=[/image]
