Ground Blind

I'm gonna second the DB option.... I know what it means to have a price limit, but you'll spend far less in the long run. Plus, if you do have something go wrong Primos/DoubleBull will take good care of you, first class customer service. Most of the other options out there won't support you they way they should...

Good luck!

I found out just today that their customer service rocks. As I was learning to set mine up, a buckle on the blind carrier bag (now come with those) broke. I called to see if I could get a new buckle...they sent me a whole new bag. I just fell in love with Primos customer service today. :way:

Just like everyone is saying, Go Double Bull. You will have it for a lifetime and the customer service is outstanding. My one and only complaint I have with DB is that they are not made in the USA anymore.

Cooter, I called customer service and they said I needed to send it in to them so they could lengthen the poles in the top section to make it tighter. Before I could get around to shipping it back to them, it accidentally fell out of my tractor bucket and got mowed into 100's of pieces. No way to fix it after that!

Haha, you should send it back to them and say, you don't have a clue what happened. You tried to set it up and it exploded. :D

I am extremely hard on equipment, so I bought the dark horse blind. Definitely worth the money. I have shot several deer out of mine. I paid 400 bucks for the one I have, but I see now you can buy them for 250-300 in places.

I have a Scheel's Boondocks blind, and love it going on three years now never an issue, it has basically the same window setup as the Darkhorse. When I bought it (on sale for $225) it was considerably cheaper than the Darkhorse and I'd be shocked if the DB was enough better than it to justify an extra $175, but now with the price of the Darkhorse in the $250 to $300 range, and the normal price of the Boondocks around $279 I'm not sure what direction I'd go, but if you could catch them on sale like I did I think they are definitely worth a look. They are much better quality than the lower end Primos blinds.

Just go ahead and buy a DB!! I bought one of the first DB. It was 13 years old when I sold it! Looked as good as the day I got it! It took alotta stuff! Now this was when DB was DB!! Not Primos!! So I can't speak now, but tHe Primos DB's are getting rave reviews also!! COST MORE FOR A REASON!! :way:

I own 2 double bulls...and older B5 and just bought a new Dark Horse. They are great blinds, and I was willing to spend a little extra for them. But not everyone can, so there definitely are some "cheaper" hub style blinds on the market that will work just fine. My partner has about 5 of them and has less invested in those 5 than I do in my 2 DB. One of his did break in a big wind, and another blew away so far we never did find it :D But in that same wind my B5 broke a roof rod, which DB replaced without hassle. Point is, buy DB if you can afford it, but if you can't, there are plenty of decent options out there.
