Grunt / growl???

I know it has been talked about before but I can't search far back enough apparently to find what I was looking for. I am going to get a new grunt call and I was thinking about one of the growl calls. Which growl call would be best for growl and grunt?

THANKS

I would go with the M.A.D. growl that is a great sounding grunt call, I think it is the best on the market, it also has the ability to do the growl.

I have both, I have had great success with the primos, I don't even know where my m.a.d call is at...

Get the Primos Roar! The MAD buck growl is very sensitive to too much air pressure in on the reed and will cause you to the call to have that blown sound! The Roar is truly what it was made for! Go with the Primos!

The one thing I did remember was that most liked one more than the other I just couldn't remember which way it went. I think I will have to look up the Primos. Thanks all!

I used the Primos last season during rut. Stopped a 2 yr old, but he would not come back. Actually he stopped 3 times. Brought in a yearling. Sounds good, but not all that impressed with calling yet to bring in anything.

Here is why.....
I own both,
I first used the MAD Growler, and it worked fine, but i have a hard time controlling the pitch and volume,
then i tried the Primos Roar, and liked it way more.....
I use calls fro both companies and like both, but in this situation, go with the Primos!

Last year on the second week of nov.stoped 3 bucks crossing a field 300 yards away with the buck roar, and on the third time I hit it the last buck came in on a dead run down wind and ended up 5 yards behind my tree! Bad thing he never presented a shot, but was cool anyway.

I've used the trutalker for years. Now, keep in mind, I'm on a very tight bowhunting budget. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif I'm sure the roar is better, how MUCH better? I've had great success over the years with the trutalker.

The buck roar by Primos is very good. I also use a H.S. truetalker and that is a very good call for the money. You can bleat on it also so its pretty versatile.
