i have way too many calls and have yet to use one that doesnt freeze up to some extent.....while it was mild, i did have he primos buck roar stick a little bit, but if you keep it in your pocket or bibs, that will help some......

just dont spit in it!!!

i have the buck roar and i like it but when its cold like this past week it freezes up and when i go to blow on it nothing comes out and sometimes it sticks and squeaks but when its working its nice and loud
 
True talker has the best sound. Or atleast that my .02 worth. But yes I as well have had troubles with it freezing. After about 2 seasons I have to buy a new one becuase that freezing them reeds seem to wear them out.

My MAD Growler, broke last night. I think the reed slipped out of place? tried fixing it to no avail sound more like a duck call now.

If i get another it will be a roar.
