Guidance on Depredation tags

I was wondering if any of you could help me? A farmer/landowner has gotten depredation tags from now until 14 Sep. He told me I could use any legal weapon to include rifle (So IA) for antlerless deer only. I told him "sweet", but can't find any thing in the rule books/online. Is this true? I would like to get out there if it cools down a little more and put some meat in the freezer. Thanks for any inputs!

I was told you could shoot bucks or does 24 hours a day with natural light and use a rifle. Farm Bureau at work.

My best advice is to call the local CO or Depredation officer. Search the Iowa DNR website for contact information.

I have heard of a few folks that have these tags. I just dont think I could shoot a bunch of does with twin fawns with them this time of year. I guess you could shoot the fawns first...... /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
