It is going to be a good fall!
My buddies and I have a little deer camp in Missouri , they have a lease I own land there. We took off Wednesday-Sunday to try to get some hunting in around Halloween .
Activity was pretty good the fay before and not bad in the morning … I passed a 3 yr old .
In the evening hunt, I picked a ladder stand that produced a buck for me last yr. Standing corn everywhere so I thought it could hurt . In reality it really helped me . This buck walked the edge of the corn (I assume checking scrapes & scent checking for does) came by at 15 yds and I double lunged him. He went 75 yds and piled up .
My buddies helped me get him out of there and we had a few celebratory drinks ! Fun weekend !
