I've posted this on another forum, but just wanted to see if you all knew of any way to do this. I've got a farm with a couple hundred acres of Warm season grasses (big blue stem, switchgrass, etc..) I was wanting to harvest that seed and use it on another farm where I am unable to get cost share to buy the seed due to no cropping history on the acres I am wanting to put it in. Is there any machine I can rent or anything I can do to harvest the seed so I don't have to pay the $100 an acre cost to buy the seed from a seed company?
