A little help here...I lost it this morning in this wind...I was hunting in Davis County at the time.

I suspect it may be in Van Buren or Lee County by now!

In Van Buren County.. Saw something go blowing by about 15 mins ago, but it was moving so fast, I didn't get a good look at it..

I must confess, my post about the hat was made up!

I didn't actually hunt today. I did though Tuesday and Wednesday and the action was fairly ho-hum...like you experienced. I did see a 2 year old 8 pointer chasing a doe pretty good on Tuesday evening, but other than that...you would never know the rut was going on.

I should also mention though that the SSE winds stopped me from hunting my better areas...so who knows, maybe all of the big boys were marching right under my good stands.
