Help me pick

Jamison1

The Robinhood
I have narrowed my rest choices down to two: The QAD Ultra rest pro HD and the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter. Please tell me which you think is better (and why if you wish). Thanks to anyone who can add something-

I have shot the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter for the past three years and I think it is great. I actually just bought a new one to put on my second bow. I have never had a problem with it and it shoots great.
Never tried the QAD.

The only problems I have about the shakey hunter is with the wide prongs with some bows they can hit the riser before center shot is achieved.

I have the QAD, and the niose (not that loud) is the only thing I dont like about it.

The QAD is a very nice rest but there is a little noise. I've been putting a lot of ripcords on bows. IMO I would go with the ripcord or qad.

Thanks for the info. Basically I have two replies for the qad and two for the T Taker. Any other able to weigh in and sway me?

QAD hands down. Have had one on my Hoyt Ultratec for 4 years and it has performed flawlessly for me. A vey well built and durable rest for the money. But there are a lot of good rests on the market these days.

Well if you are only open to the two rests, I would say the T Taker. I had the same rest on my last two bows and loved them. I was swayed to the ripcord on my new bow, and if you haven't looked at it you may want to. I really liked the option to "cock" it and have it in the draw position before you draw it. Very slick.

I would go with the Limb Driver. It is a better rest than your other choices imo. I was a TT shooter for years, until Boyd convinced me to try the LD.

Thanks for your input all; I have a few days until my new string and cables arrive and I'll be doing some hardcore thinking and will decide by saturday.

When I bought my Allegiance back in 05', these were the 2 rests I was looking at. I chose the T T and am happy with it.
